Top-Ten Ratings Streak Continues for Local Bank

For the 20th consecutive quarter, one of the financial industrys most respected ratings companies has named First National Bank Alaska among the most secure financial institutions in America.

The Florida-based Weiss Ratings, Inc., continued First Nationals A+ rating, again placing the Alaskan-owned bank in its list of the top 10 banks and thrifts nationwide.

In our opinion, this institution offers excellent financial security, the Weiss analysis stated. It has maintained a conservative stance in its business operations and underwriting practices as evidenced by its strong equity base, top-notch asset quality, steady earnings and high liquidity.

First National has the resources necessary to deal with severe economic conditions, the report concluded. If you are considering opening a new account or establishing a line of credit, we believe you can safely include First National among the companies you consider.
