Longacre named Executive Vice President

Life-long Alaskan and long-time First National Bank Alaska banker Doug Longacre will lead the banks commercial lending operations after the Board of Directors recently named him Executive Vice President.

For the last 40 years, Longacres experience in and vast knowledge of the banking industry in Alaska has helped Alaskans meet the challenges of doing business in their local communities.

A West Anchorage High graduate, Longacre worked his way through college doing construction before joining the bank in 1974. He has successfully worked in every aspect of lending in the bank, from the Cordova Branch to the Parkway and Eastchester branches in Anchorage. Longacre has been the Branch Loan Administrator for many years.

Doug and his family have been part of the state for generations and he knows what it takes to develop lasting relationships with Alaskans, First National President Betsy Lawer said. His leadership will help guide the banks experienced community bankers our neighbors can count on.

Doug will carry on our tradition of success as our investment in the state carries on.

As Executive Vice President, Longacre will oversee all aspects of commercial lending in First National branches in Anchorage and across Alaska, and the deposit operations of branches in Alaska communities outside Anchorage.

Our Alaskan-owned and operated bank is all about providing opportunities for our customers, our employees and all Alaskans, Longacre said. I look forward to leading a team of local experts who have the knowledge and experience to help Alaskans meet their financial goals.

Alaskan-owned and operated since 1922, First National proudly meets the financial needs of Alaskans with ATMs and branches in 18 communities throughout the state.
