First National Gives Over $270,000 To Alaskans In 3rd Quarter

First National Bank Alaska contributed $271, 966 in donations and sponsorships to Alaskan organizations in the third quarter of 2003. A variety of health, civic, educational and arts groups were the recipients of these contributions.

Notable third quarter contributions included those to the Alaska School Activities Association, Alaska Public Radio Network, Alaska Federation of Natives, Anchorage Womens Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Juneau Hospice Foundation, Kodiak Arts Council, and UAA Small Business Development Center. Other significant contributions were made to Anchor Point Senior Citizens, Anchorage Concert Associations education and outreach programs, Haines Public Radio, the Salvation Army Dental Assistance Program in Fairbanks, Seaview Community Services in Seward and Special Olympics Alaska, among several others.

First National Bank Alaska has been a supporter of the communities it serves since opening more than 80 years ago. Donations and sponsorships for 2003 have reached a total of $892,562 with these third quarter contributions.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and operated bank, with 27 branches throughout Alaska.
