First National Bank Alaska Receives 59th Straight 5-Star Rating

Alaskas largest locally-owned bank recently received another five-star rating from Bauer Financial Reports Inc., Americas leading bank analyst.

First National Bank Alaska has now received the five-star rating, denoting the highest level of fiscal strength and performance, for 59 consecutive quarters, the longest such streak of any Alaska bank.

Because First National has maintained this five-star rating in each quarter for at least the past 10 years, it has also earned the distinction of an Exceptional Performance Bank.

Not only is First National Bank a testament to sound banking and stellar performance, it embraces the values and work ethic that have made this country great, said Karen L. Dorway, president of the research firm.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and operated bank, with 27 branches throughout Alaska and ATMs in 17 rural communities.
