Bank Receives 57th Straight 5-Star Rating

Alaskas largest locally-owned bank recently received another five -star rating from Bauer Financial Reports, Inc., Americas leading bank analyst.
First National Bank Alaska has now received the five -star rating, denoting the highest level of fiscal strength and performance, for 57 consecutive quarters, the longest such streak of any Alaska bank.

The Bauer five-star rating is shared by only 18 percent of the nations banks,
according to Karen L. Dorway, president of the research firm.

In times of economic uncertainty, it is heartening to know that there are financial institutions, like First National Bank, that have stood the test of time, Dorway said. You cant control the market, but you certainly can control where you deposit your hard-earned money. And banking with a tried and true institution, like First National Bank, makes good
financial sense.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest locally-owned and operated bank, with 27 branches throughout Alaska and ATMs in 17 rural communities.
