Bank Ranked as One of Strongest in Nation

Weiss Ratings Inc. recently released its latest bank ratings, placing First National Bank Alaska in the top 20 strongest banks in the nation.

The bank was given an A+, the highest rating available. This is the 23rd consecutive quarter First National has received this superior rating, and is the only bank in Alaska to receive such a rating.

Weiss Ratings Inc., which monitors more than 9,400 financial institutions across the country, says First National has maintained a conservative stance in its business operations and underwriting practices as evidenced by its strong equity base, top-notch asset quality, steady earnings and high liquidity.
