Alaskan Organizations Receive Over A Quarter Million Dollars

In the first three months of 2003, First National Bank Alaska and its branches
gave $286,321 in donations and sponsorships to a wide variety of Alaska
organizations.

Some noteworthy first quarter contributions included: Abused Womens Aid
in Crisis (AWAIC); Alaska Academic Decathlon; the Alaska School Activities
Association; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Anchorage for their annual Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser; Junior Olympics Cross-Country Skiing Championships held in Fairbanks; Sitkans Against Family Violence; the Armed Services YMCA; Alaska Center for the Performing Arts; American Red Cross; Junior Achievement; Tanana Chiefs Council; and the Anchorage Economic Development Corporations annual Economic Forecast Luncheon.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and
operated bank, with 27 branches throughout Alaska and ATMs in 17 rural
communities.
