Alaska banking experts move into new jobs

A new Escrow Manager and two new Branch Managers are providing First National Bank Alaska customers excellent service after the banks Board of Directors announced recent promotions and appointments.

Michelle Frain, Escrow Manager, brings almost 20 years of First National experience to her new position. By working in multiple bank work areas in that time, Frains banking knowledge and expertise is vast. Born and raised in Alaska, Frain is a member of the American Mortgage Bankers Association and sits on the Alaska Vocational Technology Education Center advisory board.

For more than 90 years, First National has always made certain our customers come first, Frain said. Im dedicated to continuing that tradition.

Jodie McCarty is the Branch Manager at the Eastchester Branch in midtown Anchorage. Another banking veteran with more than 20 years experience, she joined First National in 2011 and moved over from the banks Dimond Branch.

It doesnt take long to appreciate the role our bank plays in the success of all Alaskans, McCarty said. The fact were Alaskan-owned and operated tells our customers were here to take care of them.

Joe Steger is the Branch Manager at the North Star Branch on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Steger was born and raised in Alaska. His banking career began almost 15 years ago.

I bring a well-rounded background in branch operations and lending to North Star, Steger said. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with our customers.
